The manifold absolute pressure sensor or MAP sensor reads pressure in your car’s intercooler plumbing and sends this information to the ECU. If you are making custom intercooler piping you will need a flange to incorporate the MAP sensor. USP now offers a CNC aluminum flange to make adding the MAP sensor easy.
