Performance Software optimized for use with 93 octane / 98 Ron fuel and the Garrett PowerMax Turbocharger along with supporting hardware bolt-ons. The MK8 GTI Stage 3 Software from Unitronic safely increases power and torque allowing users to enjoy their vehicles to the fullest on the street or on the track without reliability headaches.

Unitronic Stage 3 TCU Performance Software, Unitronic Intercooler, Unitronic Intake System and Unitronic Performance Downpipe are required to achieve advertised power figures safely.

Stage 3 UniFLEX Performance Software

Unitronic is pleased to announce the release of its Stage 3 UniFLEX Performance Software offerings for the MK8 GTI® equipped with the 2.0TSI® EVO4 engine. Thanks to a Garrett PowerMax Turbocharger, supporting Fuel System Upgrades and expert calibration by Unitronic Software Engineers, power output is increased to a massive 504HP / 437LB-FT with E85.

For maximum convenience and performance, this Stage 3 Software upgrade is fully supported by UniFLEX, which allows maps to blend seamlessly while utilizing 91 or 93 octane fuel, all the way up to E85 and anything in between without needing to reflash your vehicle.

Low Torque GBX

Designed for customers with a locked TCU or customers with stock fuel systems.

Full Torque

Designed for 6MT customers or those with an unlocked TCU, seeking maximum performance and reliability with Unitronic's Complete Fuel System Upgrade Kit. This unbeatable combination of MPI and LPFP is the best option and strongly recommended for those with unlocked transmissions.

Transmission Tuning

In order to provide maximum drivability, reliability, and performance, Unitronic Stage 3 TCU Software is required for vehicles equipped with DQ381.2 DSG® transmissions. This upgrade increases the torque limiter to handle higher power levels, optimizes both Drive and Sport modes for a more refined and responsive experience, and enables gear display for better driver awareness. Additionally, it removes kickdown for full control over throttle input and enhances gear shift speeds, ensuring quicker, smoother shifts that keep up with the demands of high-performance driving.

Fuel System Upgrades

In order to utilize Stage 3 E85 UniFLEX calibrations, customers will need to purchase the $400 FLEX add-on, in addition to the UniFLEX hardware kit, to perform this upgrade.

For full torque calibrations, Unitronic's complete Fuel System Upgrade Kit is also required for the MK8 GTI. This kit is comprised of an MPI Upgrade and LPFP Solution which greatly increases fuel flow while providing greater stability under load for improved performance and reliability in the most demanding driving scenarios and is supported with native integration and control within the OEM SIMOS 19.6 ECU.
