Installed this unit on a 2017 VW Golf Sportwagen. Unit fit except it is a little close to the ABS controller. Insulated the ABS heat shield with two layers of reflective heat insulation and wrapped the upper portion of the downpipe (above the flex pipe) with two layers of fiberglass exhaust insulation tape. Temps at the controller seem OK after test run. The O2 bung is extended so no additional extension fitting is needed (I bought one when I ordered, just in case), no CEL with JB4 Map 2.

Advantages: Good price, adapter pipes to fit all tailpipe sizes.

Disadvantages: Fit is a little close to the ABS controller, would be better if the upper portion of the downpipe was angled so that it was 1-2" farther forward (closer to the engine block).

Install went quite easy, I had a set of ramps to install it with. You could probably get away with some 2x4s to get up onto a curb with a bit more profanity. Pipe sounds good. It's a bit loud on the highway but it's not too bad. Saves between 0 and 1 mpg (not statistically significant, but possible).

Two minor hiccups that are very fixable but hopefully will save you some diagnostic time:
1) When I installed I had a small vibration where it felt like something was contacting the floor. After a bit of searching, the pipe was touching the crossmember/stiffener that passes under the pipe and transmitted the vibrations to the floor so make sure there's some space there.
2) After about 10k miles, I noticed a squeak when the engine went under load. After some digging, discovered it was the rubber mounts. Take the mount off, pour some oil into the 'cup' shape of the mount and pull the to components in all different directions to let some oil in between the center steel part of the mount and the rubber. Use high temp grease if you have it; I'll get some if it starts again, but while diagnosing the squeak it wasn't worth getting some, so just put used motor oil on it and it worked fine.

Advantages: Sounds great around town, possible (0-1mpg) fuel economy improvement, easy install, takes some weight out of the car.

Disadvantages: A bit loud at highway speed. Make sure to follow my 2 install tips in the comments.

Easy install, and great sound! Highly recommend buying the O2 wire extension for a MK7 GTI. It still reached the plug but was reaching its limits and didn’t go back into stock holding clips.

Next time I'll make sure UPS delivers my packages. FedEx never attempted to deliver when they said they did. Now I have to wait another day
