USP Motorsports Carbon Fiber Air Freshener

Handcrafted in our facility using the same 2x2 twill aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber we'd use if we made aerospace-grade parts (we don't, but we've toured a facility), the USP Carbon Fiber Air Freshener is the world's first and only pine tree worthy of your build.

The layup process takes 14 hours per unit, performed by our single certified carbon fiber technician, Doug (his real name is Diego, but every single customer who has ever reached him on live chat has called him Doug, and at some point you just let it become the thing). Doug is learning. Doug is committed. Doug believes in this. Diego does too, for the record.

Once laid up, each tree is vacuum bagged and autoclave-cured at 250°F for four hours, because that's what you do with prepreg carbon, and also because it makes the price easier to explain.

The result is a 2.3mm thick, fully rigid carbon fiber pine tree with a visible weave so tight and consistent that other drivers will absolutely notice it if they ever get close enough to your mirror, which they won't because you're also getting that Stage 3 turbo kit from us today.

Forged Carbon Edition
For the enthusiast who needs people to know it's different, we offer the Forged Carbon Edition, produced using chopped carbon fiber strands suspended in aerospace resin and compression molded under 40 tons of force into a proprietary pine tree mold we had machined in the Florida Everglades.

No two forged carbon trees are alike. Each one is unique, like a snowflake, or a receipt from a performance shop.

Fragrance
The USP-CF-PINE-001 comes pre-infused with our Stage 1 Pine Scent, a refined, motorsport-appropriate fragrance we describe internally as "crisp top notes of Bavarian forest floor with a mid-palate of fresh resin and a dry finish of motor oil we couldn't fully get out of the shop.

Weight Savings
The USP-CF-PINE-001 weighs 47 grams in standard prepreg form, a savings of 11 grams over the cardboard original. At highway speeds, this reduction in unsprung mirror weight results in approximately 0.000 measurable performance gains, but you'll know. And that's what matters.

Racers running the dry carbon race spec at 31 grams save an additional 16 grams, which at a competition level is the difference between winning and also winning, but lighter.

Installation
Remove the existing cardboard tree. Untangle the string, have scissors ready, these have been up for years. Hang the USP-CF-PINE-001 from your mirror using the included titanium-anodized hanging string (it's a string). Step back. Feel it.

Estimated install time: 45 seconds. Estimated time spent explaining it to passengers: 6 to 8 minutes per ride, indefinitely.

FAQ
Is this a joke? The carbon fiber is real. Doug is real. Diego is also real (we actually have 2 of them in customer service). The price reflects the true cost of doing things properly.
Will this void my warranty? No more than anything else you've done to this car.
Can I get it in dry carbon for track use? We admire you deeply.
