Suspension Secrets Complete Brake Cooling Kit For For BMW F80 M3 / F82 M4

Designed and developed on our own BMW F80 M3 following countless issues with our brakes overheating, warping and fading out on track we comprised the perfect kit to keep our brakes cool. 

Our kit is targeted to fix your warping brake discs and brake fade out on circuit of your F80 M3 / F82 M4 by ducting clean direct airflow from the front bumper straight into the backing plates mounted to the rear of the brake discs. Our kit contains everything you need to cool your brakes straight out of the box:

1. 2 x AH Fabrications Brake Cooling Backing Plates
2. 4m of Air Ducting Hose
3. 4 x Jubilee Clips
4. 2 x Carbon Fibre Brake Ducts

Designed to be different, these brake cooling backing plates have an air chamber designed into them to guide airflow into the bell of the disc. This is critical for proper air flow to cool the disc evenly and thoroughly. Other designs simply guide the air to the back face of the disc, which only cools one face and can lead to discs cracking and warping. These plates also directly replace your OEM backing plates with no cutting required. 

Currently fitted to our own development F80 M3 this brake cooling kit made a substantial difference to the brake pedal fade out on circuit, providing clean air flow to the discs to prevent them from over heating. Keeping them cool prevents warping and brake fade providing more consistent braking behaviour out on circuit. 

The carbon fibre air ducts supplied mount in the front bumper and require cutting the front bumper in order to mount them. Once fitted the ducts direct clean airflow straight from the front of the car and into the backing plates with a single 90 degree turn in the hose. Front bumper air ducts are a much more effective way to cool the brakes than other kits that use under-car air ducts as the air is uninterrupted and changes direction less, leading to more efficient and consistent cooling at all speeds.
