This Genuine VW/Audi intake camshaft with integrated variable valve timing (VVT) cam adjuster fits 1.8T and 2.0T applications. The intake cam controls the intake valves and houses the VVT mechanism that adjusts valve timing for optimal power and fuel economy across the RPM range.

Note: If replacing this camshaft, the variable timing control valve (part # 06L-109-257-H) MUST be replaced at the same time. Reusing the old valve risks catastrophic engine damage.
