-What all is included with the IE High-Flow Intake?
The intake kit includes the direct-fit heat shield & bellmouth, air filter, inlet pipe, and all install hardware including heavy duty black silicone hoses, and hose clamps.

-Is there any modification required to install the  IE High-Flow Intake?
No! The IE intake kit is a direct replacement for any Mk6 Golf R running the IE450T turbo kit. There is no further trimming, cutting, or modification needed for installation.

-How much horsepower will the IE High-Flow Intake support?
The bellmouth, air filter, and heat shield included in this kit has been designed after our IE450T twin-scroll big turbo kit, and has been tested to support over 500hp successfully with room to grow. The air inlet pipe and silicone in this kit is designed to flow perfectly with the IE450T MAF housing and EFR turbocharger.

-What turbo chargers can I use with the IE High-Flow Intake?
This kit is designed to be a direct bolt-on when used with the IE450T EFR Big Turbo Kit on the MK6 Golf R 2.0T FSI EA113 engines. This intake will not work with factory installed turbochargers and MAF housings.

Designed for IE450T
Starting at the MAF housing, this kit provides the necessary pipe and couplers to plumb the intake system to the heat shield. By purchasing the intake kit designed for IE450T, you take out all of the guesswork and fabrication to put together a custom intake or adapt an existing system.

True direct-fit heat shield
A unique feature of the IE heat shield is that it reuses factory mount grommets and mount points, making for a OEM-like installation, with no drilling or modification needed. Our heat shield uses the opening in the radiator support to direct air to the filter, as well as a seal along the top perimeter,  keeping intake air as cold as possible.

High-flow bellmouth
Unlike other intakes on the market, which simply clamp a filter on the end of the inlet pipe, our intake uses a high-flow 5" bellmouth to bring in as much air as possible through the air filter. With this innovative design, the bellmouth acts as a clean pass-through, securing the intake tube to the heat shield, with no worry of the pipe moving around and causing damage. Furthermore, the bellmouth design allows for a filter with much more surface area than average filters used in MK6 intake kits.
