The 034Motorsport Dynamic+ Tuning Software for MK8 Volkswagen GTI equipped with the EA888 Gen 4 2.0T inline-four engine is designed to transform the driving experience of your vehicle! Flashed directly through your vehicle’s OBD-II port, 034Motorsport’s proprietary calibrations for the ECU safely and effectively increase the power output of the turbocharged inline-four in a refined manner. The result is a significant improvement in acceleration and throttle response, without any sacrifice in driveability or reliability.

034Motorsport MK8 Volkswagen GTI EA888 Gen 4 2.0T Dynamic+ Performance Software was developed entirely in-house on 034Motorsport's Development MK8 GTI. The calibrations were then refined on multiple enthusiast-owned beta tester cars around the world.

034Motorsport Engineers develop special inhouse tools that allow us to access the firmware and maps inside the factory ECU, this level of engineering is required to prevent work-arounds and bandaids that many aftermarket companies resort to. 034Motorsport engineers and optimizes the ECU calibrations just like Volkswagen engineers would, but accessing the source of how the ECU controls the engine and making changes at the base level.

Stage 3 PMAX:

034Motorsport Stage 3R & Stage 3 PMAX Performance ECU Software for the EA888 Gen 4 2.0T engines equipped with MK8 Golf R or Garrett PowerMax turbocharger is engineered to safely increase the horsepower and torque beyond the stock turbocharger. 034Motorsport engineers utilized advanced data collection and monitoring devices to sensor the EA888.4 engine and upgraded turbochargers to ensure unrivaled drivability and uncompromised reliability. This testing and development allows 034Motorsport engineers to safely optimize the larger turbochargers on the MK8 GTI. While many tuners can achieve great power figures that look impressive on a dyno sheet or a webpage, the key to a truly substantive and transformative software upgrade lies in the strategies employed to make power efficiently and safely.

In addition to power improvements, 034Motorsport's engineers spent a significant amount of time refining the throttle mapping in both Dynamic and Comfort modes to provide improved throttle response and allow for more precise throttle modulation with the addition of a larger turbocharger.

034Motorsport EA888.4 2.0T Performance Software is flashed via the factory OBD-II port, and does not require any physical modification of the factory ECU. Stage 3R & Stage 3 PMAX is available in 91 Octane, 93 Octane, and E85. ALL FILES ARE US (MON+RON) RATING, ROW OCTANE RATINGS MAY DIFFER.

Stage 3 TCU Tune: 

The 034Motorsport Stage 3 Transmission Performance Tuning Software for the DQ381 G2 is designed to further improve the drivability and acceleration performance of your Stage 3R Dynamic+ Tuned MK8 GTI. Dynamic+ Stage 3 TCU Software is designed to be used with Dynamic+ Stage 3R ECU Software. 034Motorsport Stage 3 TCU Tuning further optimizes shift points under partial and full throttle to keep the Golf R Turbocharger in their peak power band for maximum performance with the larger turbocharger!

Torque Safety Strategy Enhancements:

The Dynamic+ ECU Tuning accurately reports torque values to the TCU to ensure that all safety systems are intact in both control units, and the added torque from tuning is properly adjusted for when driving/shifting, including all safety systems designed to protect the engine and transmission. This results in better shift quality as the transmission is not having to reduce engine torque or having to adapt to misreported inputs.

Clutch Pressure Increases:

In order to safely apply the increased horsepower and torque, DSG Clutch Pressures are increased in all drive modes. Expect to feel firmer and more solid shifts!

Optimized Shift Points:

In order to take advantage of the increased powerband from the turbocharger, Dynamic+ Tuning optimizes the shift points in Drive & Sport Mode to maximize acceleration while retaining smooth drivability.

Improved Shift Speeds:

To further enhance the acceleration of your GTI, the DQ381 G2 shift times are dramatically decreased in all driving modes, which ultimately results in quicker acceleration.

Launch Control Optimizations:

From the factory, the DQ381 G2 launch control strategies used are very neutered and designed for a vehicle on a non-optimal surface with low-grip tires. 034Motorsport Engineers have optimized the launch by raising the factory torque limit to take advantage of a better surface and a grippier tire. This ensures that your GTI will 60ft much more effectively and efficiently!
