Racingline Performance Tune For VW MK7/MK7.5 Golf R 2.0 TSI

Welcome to PDM from RacingLine. This is an exciting new optional feature for our RacingLine Software customers!

The Power Delivery Module allows you to access the full RacingLine Performance Software calibration suite for your car. With PDM, you can quickly and safely reflash your Engine Control Unit (ECU) and DSG Transmission Control Unit (TCU) from the convenience of your own home.

What is PDM?

Power Delivery Module is our latest user option to further enhance the Performance Software experience. PDM is our end-user tool to allow customers to install the RacingLine calibrations themselves. By purchasing this optional PDM Tool, you'll get access to exactly the same full Software Suite for your car as our RacingLine Performance Softwaredealers do. 

But the difference is that the PDM tool allows you to install, remove, upgrade or change your calibration yourself, any time, any where. 

Of course the PDM tool is not required to enjoy our Performance Software, and won't be everyone's choice. Our Software Dealer network will still be the main route for many customers to supply and install their calibration.

Why choose PDM?

Instead of having to travel to your local dealer each time you want a software install, upgrade or removal, PDM gives you the option to take full control of your RacingLine Software yourself.

With PDM, you can install your choice of software, upgrade to the next stage of tuning, vary between fuel octanes and even flash the car back to stock. All from the comfort of your own garage or driveway, at any time.  

As all RacingLine Performance Software comes with our Free Upgrades programme, there’s zero cost to switch between any of the calibrations available for your vehicle.

Stage1:

Stage 1 is all about delivering a transformative power & torque gain, but with no mechanical changes needed. And as the dyno graphs show all so clearly, it's a night and day difference.

Stage 1+ (GPF/OPF ONLY):

Stage 1+ is our tuning solution for drivers who want to get the maximum out of their OPF/GPF car without a turbo swap. It requires the R600 air intake and turbo inlet pipe, plus intercooler.

But crucially, the exhaust, catalyst and OPF/GPF are not changed for Stage 1+ in order to remain road-legal in most countries.

Stage 2:

Stage 2 gives the ultimate performance from the factory IS38 turbo. Requiring the full R600 intake and turbo inlet, intercooler and a high-flow catalyst.

If your car is OPF/GPF, then this must be deleted for Stage 2. Therefore Stage 2 is only legal for markets where GPF is not factory fitted, or is legal to delete, or when car is to be used off-highway for racing purposes only.

Stage 3:

Stage 3 takes your car to whole new level of performance.  By replacing the IS38 with our own hybrid turbo, you'll be accessing true supercar performance levels.

We've carefully and deliberately developed this Stage 3 Kit to work with the standard engine, with no need to build/open up the engine. And if you're already at Stage 2, the only additional hardware you'll need is our turbo, and a high-pressure fuel pump, plus our Stage 3 Calibration. That's it.

With literally hundreds of our Stage 3 kits running around the work on road and track, this is truly a 'plug and play' gateway to reliable supercar performance.

PowerMax (GPF/OPF Only)

The RacingLine PowerMax GPF replaces your IS38 with a replacement Garrett GT2260S turbocharger for highly impressive, legal results! 

With this turbo-swap, you'll need the same hardware requirements as Stage 1+ (our R600 intake pack plus Intercooler) plus a High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP). However, the downpipe, catalyst and GPF are untouched - saving you money and crucially keeping your car legal (although please check you local market rules).

PDM App-Connect 

Racingline's PDM App-Connect is now available as a free download on the Apple Store and Google Play store, allowing our PDM customers to download the RacingLine App to take control of their tuning - directly from their smartphone.

The Power Delivery Module and PDM App-Connect allows you to access the full RacingLine Performance Software calibration suite for your car. With PDM App-Connect, you can quickly and safely reflash your ECU and TCU anywhere, provided you have a decent phone/data signal on your smartphone. 

How does App-Connect work?

Once you have purchased your PDM kit from your RacingLine Software Dealer, all you need to do is to download the RacingLine App from either Google Play Store or Apple Store (links below). And that's completely free!

Then simply connect your phone wirelessly via Bluetooth to the PDM Dongle, and perform all of the same functionality that your laptop gives you:

• Tune your car using your smartphone
• Swap between different fuel grades
• Change to different tune levels
• Activate Theft Protect function (where available)
• Return to stock any time
• Check for fault codes (DTCs) and erase

 

Now, with App-Connect, all you need is a decent phone data signal, and all of these functions can be carried out wherever you are, whenever you want.
