The AWE Tuning in-house 2013 Audi Q5 3.0T broke new ground on April 23rd 2014 at NHRA Certified Cecil County Dragway with a 12.502 quarter mile at 109.52 MPH, on 93 octane fuel, at full weight including spare tire and stock wheels and tires. This time is the fastest quarter mile time to date for a 3.0T Audi Q5 powered vehicle, outright.
Needless to say, the onlookers gawked at the record-setting SUV, which happened to still have the baby seat in the back. As daily driver as it gets.

The power behind the SUV is thanks to the AWE Tuning Stage 2 Performance Pulley suite.
About the Pulley
Through use of the smaller-than-stock AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley, the kit spins the 3.0Ts supercharger faster, creating more boost pressure while staying within the tested parameters of the unit. This increased boost pressure is used in conjunction with G.I.A.C. Stage 2 Performance Software to maximize the potential of the stock Eaton supercharger once coupled with the AWE Tuning 3.0T Performance Pulley.
The stock Audi ECU software directs a valve inside the supercharger to open, then waste (or "œbleed off"
