Social Media Specialist

USP is seeking a Social Media Specialist who eats, sleeps, and breathes the aftermarket community. The Social Media Specialist will aid in the creation of our social content marketing initiatives across multiple social media platforms. This social media juggernaut will be able to formulate social media strategies and plans, while keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends. Communication is a big part of the job, so candidates must feel confident enough to contribute to the entire creative process as well as be able to respond to comments, questions, and analyze key metrics and report statistics to understand social media growth.

Responsibilities would include design and implemantaion for social marketing, content, user experience, video and photography. Other responsibilities could include site marketing, merchandising and assistance with other day to day operations on multiple operational fronts.

While an interest in the European aftermarket community is a huge plus, all are encouraged to apply (we’d be more than happy to show you ‘round the turns of the industry). Privately held twenty-year plus company located in Pompano Beach, Florida. The company specializes in aftermarket performance auto products, currently focused on European brands. The CEO built and races one of the top two fastest relevant cars in the world out of our sister performance shop. The company still enjoys a startup culture, despite significant growth for years. Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies
  • Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
  • Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
  • Event Photography
  • Product Photography
  • Videography
  • Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the businesses campaigns
  • Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages
  • Be active in the Motorsport culture at large. Stay curious about what makes for excellent design communications and best practices in the current design landscape
  • Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years professional digital marketing or design experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adeptness with leading design software packages (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc…)
  • Ability to capture and edit videos
  • A determination to achieve and succeed
  • The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • A background of working as part of a design team
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to production
  • Consistency regardless of project size
  • Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
  • The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve

Associate Visual Designer

The Associate Visual Designer will aid in the creation of our content marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and formats. eCommerce Customer Experience/Sales Representative (Onsite or Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • eCommerce Customer Experience: Adopt and represent our customers to ensure their experience is the best it can be. Customer contact is via phone, support tickets, live chat, and email. Phone etiquette and patience a must!
  • eCommerce Order Administration: Ensure any order issues are fielded to the right person to ensure timely issue resolution and fulfillment.
  • eCommerce Backup Sales: Customer contacts via support tickets, email, chat, and phone often have sales opportunities within. Ensure those opportunities are identified and addressed, or fielded to the right person on the team.
  • eCommerce Support Ticket Administration: Ensure timely response and closure of customer support tickets, with issues fielded to the right team member when needed.
  • General: Maintain and report on personal and departmental performance metrics and contribute to constant improvement ideas and implementation

Communications:

  • Concise effective writing skills via Office software a must.
  • Team Player and good listener. Able to effectively interact with management, peers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Requirements:

  • Type at 35 words per minute
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Advanced problem solving skills, multi-tasking and proven time management skills are a must

Education:

  • Minimum two year degree or technical equivalent.
  • Customer support certifications highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Car componentry and parts knowledge, and/or performance hobbyist experience required.
  • Experience with Zendesk and eCommerce platforms desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent internet computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and excellent general computer skills
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to function independently and multi-task
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and/or call center environment
  • VW/Audi parts knowledge
