NEUSPEED Power Module For 1.8T & 2.0T
NEUSPEED Power Module is a device which easily allows most able person to upgrade the performance of their 1.8/2.0 TSI (Gen3 engine) without reducing the reliability or integrity of the engine, clutch and driveline. This is the simplest and best alternative or option to chip tuning. The NEUSPEED Power Module is an all new design, not some rebranded 3rd party product. It is a plug and play box that intercepts at the MAP and Boost sensors and can be installed or removed within minutes without any detection. There is a convenient two position switch for 91+ premium fuel and 100+ octane race fuel for maximum HP output. The electrical components are housed in a billet aluminum enclosure which is protected from the elements and is designed and manufactured to be positioned within the engine bay of your vehicle. The wire harness is manufactured using automotive quality wiring which is both oil and heat resistant, and has the same OE water proof connectors as used on your engine.
NEUSPEED Power Module's are designed, engineered and tuned for a specific engine, not a generic box.
NOTE: The USA delivered GTI is under rated from the factory, our dyno shows about 225HP with the boost spiking at 1.3 bar (19 psi) in stock form, so raising the boost to spin the factory turbo to it's peak efficiency whether ECU tuned or Power Module will yield about 260HP in stock engine configuration using 91 octane fuel. Dyno sheet is available for viewing, the vehicle had no other modifications and was running on 91 pump gas for a fair test comparison. The chart shows Stock, Power Module +5 and Power Module +7 runs.

Power / Torque Gain - 91 Octane Fuel (higher gains obtainable with better octane fuel) :
1.8 TSI: 30+ HP /  55+ ft./lbs.Torque
2.0 TSI: 35+ HP /  70+ ft/lbs.Torque
2.0 TSI "Budack/Miller Cycle": 30+ HP /  55+ ft./lbs.Torque
Increases boost by modifying the charge pressure and map sensor readings
Allows ECU to remain in control of boost
The actual boost is increased by a precise amount
Boost is increased in a gradual, progressive fashion
Uses the closed loop control of the ECU to increase boost
Readings in the vacuum region are stock
No effect on cold start
No effect on warm-up
No change to idle, cruise and moderate acceleration modes of operation
Retains stock ECU programming
No change to factory ECU programming, communication or safety protocols
No ECU TD1 code to void manufactures warranty
Not effected by ECU reprogramming by the dealer
Makes use of existing ECU programming for higher boost levels
Correct Air/Fuel mixture maintained from the wide band O2 and closed loop mode of the ECU
Ignition timing optimized by the ECU

Installation or removal can be completed in a few minutes (depending on model)
No trace Power Module was ever there after removal
Power Module can be sold or installed on another vehicle of the same engine type.
Fits: 2014-up Audi A3/S3 (8V) 1.8 TSI/2.0 TSI and 2015-up VW MK7 GTI including Performance Package, Golf R and Golf 1.8 TSI.
CARB Pending. Emission testing to be California compliant and any states that follow.

Product performed exactly as promised. Gave my Golf R a nice boost in performance with no untoward effects. Easily installed but you do have to get under the car to affect a connection to the boost sensor. Very happy with the Power Module.

Advantages: Upon removal ( same easy process as the installation ) VW will not know you had it and should avoid any warranty hassles.

Disadvantages: None. It doesn't match a full-out tune for power increase but neither does it have the potential for affecting warranty claims. Unless you do track time, you don't need any more power boost than this product provides for.

Works exactly as advertised. Easy to install (20min) and is completely removable when you want. It took about 20miles for the car to adjust and start upping the boost and wow can you feel a difference. It's not a full tune, obviously, but you definitely can feel the difference and its great. Ive had mine on for over 20k miles and no issues.

Advantages: Cheaper than a full time and easy to install/remove.

Disadvantages: None really for what it is.

This customer purchased the item at our site.
It took me about 20 minutes to get this installed. It probably would have been a lot faster if I had a proper jack. The hardest thing about this was popping the original cables apart. I haven't dynoed my GTI before or after, but I definitely notice an increase in acceleration. If you want to save a few bucks or dont want to go the APR route, this is a great alternative.

Advantages: Easy to install/uninstall.

Disadvantages: None so far.

Installed on my Mk7 Golf R. Power increase is quantifiable and you can definitely feel it, boost comes on sooner and harder.

Advantages: Makes power. Easily reversible.

Disadvantages: None really. Just had to use a bunch of zip-ties to make sure it doesn't come into contact with radiator fans.
