USP Motorsports went out to Homestead Miami Speedway and had the opportunity to put our improved Porsche 996 turbo to test on the road course. With the Brembo brake kit installed, we were ready to make it around the track quicker than most of the cars out there… Well we lived up to those expectations. USP Motorsports had the power to fly past the competitors, and the stopping power to slow down just as quickly as the race cars. Here are a few photos to capture the action.

With the USP Motorsports E85 ethanol powered Porsche 996 Turbo becoming more avid in the road course racing world, and reaching neck breaking power, we needed to find a new way to bring down the speeds just as quickly. After hours of research and discussion we finalized our decision with the Brembo GT series big brake system. The kit includes state-of-the-art 2 piece slotted rotors measuring 355×32, and sequential 6 Piston calipers to squeeze them to a stop. We will work hard to get these installed as soon as possible to make the Porsche 996 Turbo become an all around super car, with pictures to follow. USP Motorsports is heading to Homestead Saturday, June 19th to really find out their capabilities. Stay posted for track times and videos from the event.

USP Motorsports came, saw, and conquered EuroWarz 2010!! We showed with the largest display of products, came with the whole USP crew, and finished 1, 2 in the drag racing tournament!! The USP Porsche 996 Turbo ran a best time on the day of 10.55 @ 140 in 95 degree heat, and finished second in the finals to a USP Motorsports B6 S4 in the finals due to a minor mechanical malfunction. The second annual EuroWarz was a great event and shows a very bright future. We hope to see it grow more next year!

USP Motorsports is proud to announce that we have successfully converted yet another Porsche 996 Turbo to E85 ethanol fuel!! After numerous conversions, E85 has become a niche of ours here at USP. There is not a performance vehicle we want to do a fuel system on anymore unless its E85! With the high octane rating and more importantly the extremely cool burning properties of the fuel, it is just made for power. We have proven its abilities in our 826 awhp Audi S4, and 740whp Porsche Turbo. You can’t go wrong paying ~$2.50 per gallon and running on a “race gas” high-boost tune at all time. With an E85 fuel system conversion, there’s no worrying about draining fuel, switching maps, tuning for different fuels.. its your all around ultimate fueling choice! With the gas becoming more readily available at local gas stations, the conversions have been becoming more appealing by the day. After all the E85 systems we have done here at USP, it is safe to say we can build one hell of an E85 fuel system conversion.
With the completion of this 996 Turbo E85 ethanol conversion, we are excited to announce that our production version of this system is one step closer to being released! It will not only be for E85, but for any 996 / 997 Porsche Turbo looking to make big power! It is by far the smartest fuel system to go with given its power capabilities and the fact that it uses a factory fuel tank, and no noticeable modifications to the engine compartment!!
Email sales@uspmotorsports.com if you have interested in being placed on the contact list when our first production batch is ready for shipping!

In preparation for the 2010 race season, USP Motorsports has been forced to expand. We’ve sold the 22′ v-nose single car trailer to pick up a 42′ Gooseneck! This trailer houses enough room for 2 vehicles and plenty more for tools and spare parts at the track. We will be fully prepared to represent for the Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche community! USP Motorsports plans to attend the full season of
NSCRA drag racing events with our 800hp Audi S4 in the True Street class. USP Motorsports and driver Chris Green was the 2009 season winner of the NSCRA South Florida Turbo True Street class and we plan to defend out title in 2010!!
USP Motorsports will also be attending multiple road-course racing events with our E85 corn fed 700hp Porsche 996 Turbo, standing-mile runs, and European car events such as Euro Warz and Euro FixxFest. Look for our 500+whp GLI 1.8T to be riding along in the Gooseneck as well, trying for its first 10 second pass and be the first GLI 1.8T in the country to break that barrier!

USP Motorsports routinely corner weight and balances the vehicles of our track enthusiast and spirited driving clients. Corner-balancing is simply adjusting the car so there’s an equal amount of weight on all four tires. When it comes to road course racing, the ideal cross weight percentage is 50 percent. This makes the cornering force balanced from left to right and offers the best performance overall. However, it is not that common to see vehicles meeting this demand due to the driver offset or factory weight distribution.
Each individual application can be custom tailored for different tracks, or better drag racing setups to help improve traction. We adjust and balance the vehicles at USP Motorsports using Longacre computer scales, with an individual scale under each tire. The actual adjustments to the vehicle are made via the coilover suspension and in some cases, distribution and relocation of weight such as batteries or fuel cells, etc.
If you are interested in getting your vehicle weighed or balanced, call and make your appointment today.
