USP Motorsports is now an official authorized TiAL dealer, and you can purchase all TiAL products from us such as BOV’s, wastegates, etc! We just received our first Alpha30 Billet GT3071R turbo system, and it’s waiting to be installed in a customer’s 996TT, already converted E85 ethanol!! Along with the TiAL kit, we will also be upgrading this 996 with the USP Motorsports intercooler upgrades. Check out previous news on this car here, this will be a great benchmark for performance gains when the new setup is complete. If all goes well, once the project is finished, we will be ordering another system to go into our 996 and break that 800whp mark. As usual, tuning will be done in conjunction with Tony @ EPL. With the additional support of Mobil 1 behind us, we will attempt to raise the bar even higher this season and accelerate towards new goals. USP Motorsports brought home the 2009 NSCRA (insert class here) class championship and even won our challenge at Euro Fixxfest 2009, so we are looking to repeat our 2009 accomplishments and push the boundaries even further this year. USP just completed another clutch upgrade on a Porsche 997 Turbo! We installed a Clutch Masters/USP Motorsports stage 1 clutch for more grab, less slip, and more power to the ground! Call or email for more information.

With the USP Motorsports E85 ethanol powered Porsche 996 Turbo becoming more avid in the road course racing world, and reaching neck breaking power, we needed to find a new way to bring down the speeds just as quickly. After hours of research and discussion we finalized our decision with the Brembo GT series big brake system. The kit includes state-of-the-art 2 piece slotted rotors measuring 355×32, and sequential 6 Piston calipers to squeeze them to a stop. We will work hard to get these installed as soon as possible to make the Porsche 996 Turbo become an all around super car, with pictures to follow. USP Motorsports is heading to Homestead Saturday, June 19th to really find out their capabilities. Stay posted for track times and videos from the event.

USP Motorsports is pleased to announce that we have recently acquired a Porsche 997 Turbo 6-speed. This vehicle will be used primarily for product development, testing, and tuning. We are looking forward to becoming more active in the 997 community and contributing our research to the public. We will be testing and providing results for all upgrades performed to the car. Any performance products installed will be tested on our in-house dyno to show actual real world gains. Stay tuned for more!!

September 19, 2009 USP Motorsports held its first annual show / bbq / dyno day called The Festival of Power and Shine. Eurotuner magazine was in attendance covering the show, and they finally got it published!! We can’t wait to do it again!!

USP Motorsports came, saw, and conquered EuroWarz 2010!! We showed with the largest display of products, came with the whole USP crew, and finished 1, 2 in the drag racing tournament!! The USP Porsche 996 Turbo ran a best time on the day of 10.55 @ 140 in 95 degree heat, and finished second in the finals to a USP Motorsports B6 S4 in the finals due to a minor mechanical malfunction. The second annual EuroWarz was a great event and shows a very bright future. We hope to see it grow more next year!

We’ve been working long nights here at USP Motorsports to insure that our defending champion Turbo VR6 S4 is prepared to live up to its reputation and hold its title in season 2 of the NSCRA. Some changes have been made in the off-season in attempt to continue personal improvement and keep up with some of the new competition. In the Audi world, we are currently the quickest and fastest down the quarter mile in North America, but don’t plan to just sit on the throne. We will constantly be going faster, and raising the bar for the community. Overall, the NSCRA has been rapidly expanding and bringing more competition to the table, so if we want to reign supremacy over the “True Street” class once again, we must stay on top of our game.

Among the changes made, the engine was strengthened due to the outdated build from back in the racing days of the USP Motorsports 9 second Jetta VR6 – YES! We have been running the same engine that was in the Jetta built over 4 years ago! So needless to say, we have confidence that improvement is immanent. With help from Volkswagen expert Brian Kirchberger, you can expect USP Motorsports to be hard to beat this season. The APR performance software upgrade for the 2010+ Volkswagen & Audi vehicles has finally been released, and is available here at USP Motorsports! In typical APR fashion, this ECU Upgrade is an expertly recalibrated reflash of the OEM ECU to produce an additional 40-68 hp and 74-90 lb ft of torque.
