USP Motorsports went out to Homestead Miami Speedway and had the opportunity to put our improved Porsche 996 turbo to test on the road course. With the Brembo brake kit installed, we were ready to make it around the track quicker than most of the cars out there… Well we lived up to those expectations. USP Motorsports had the power to fly past the competitors, and the stopping power to slow down just as quickly as the race cars. Here are a few photos to capture the action.

September 19, 2009 USP Motorsports held its first annual show / bbq / dyno day called The Festival of Power and Shine. Eurotuner magazine was in attendance covering the show, and they finally got it published!! We can’t wait to do it again!!

USP Motorsports came, saw, and conquered EuroWarz 2010!! We showed with the largest display of products, came with the whole USP crew, and finished 1, 2 in the drag racing tournament!! The USP Porsche 996 Turbo ran a best time on the day of 10.55 @ 140 in 95 degree heat, and finished second in the finals to a USP Motorsports B6 S4 in the finals due to a minor mechanical malfunction. The second annual EuroWarz was a great event and shows a very bright future. We hope to see it grow more next year!

April 24th, 2010 - Bradenton Motorsports Park, FL – EuroWarz 2010. This can be easily described as a European drag racing extravaganza drawing enthusiasts from all over the South East!! Hosted by the same people that bring you Euro FixxFest, this has been a great event in years past, with a very promising future! We’ve been working long nights here at USP Motorsports to insure that our defending champion Turbo VR6 S4 is prepared to live up to its reputation and hold its title in season 2 of the NSCRA. Some changes have been made in the off-season in attempt to continue personal improvement and keep up with some of the new competition. In the Audi world, we are currently the quickest and fastest down the quarter mile in North America, but don’t plan to just sit on the throne. We will constantly be going faster, and raising the bar for the community. Overall, the NSCRA has been rapidly expanding and bringing more competition to the table, so if we want to reign supremacy over the “True Street” class once again, we must stay on top of our game.

Among the changes made, the engine was strengthened due to the outdated build from back in the racing days of the USP Motorsports 9 second Jetta VR6 – YES! We have been running the same engine that was in the Jetta built over 4 years ago! So needless to say, we have confidence that improvement is immanent. With help from Volkswagen expert Brian Kirchberger, you can expect USP Motorsports to be hard to beat this season. Due to our high demands this season, we’ve decided to upgrade our rubber to help put all this VW power to the ground. We should make for a pretty intimidating competitor sporting four of these.. 

Whether it be drivetrain parts or records, USP Motorsports will be breaking something. We strive for excellence.

The USP Motorsports Audi S4 and driver / car owner Chris Green have successfully conquered the NSCRA drag racing inaugural season True Street class! We have accomplished this utilizing an arsenal of experience, consistency, and power. Chris Green is no rookie to competitive drag racing holding a second place finish in the NOPI national drag racing association under his belt in 2004, driving the USP Motorsports FWD Turbo VR6 Jetta in the Turbo 6 class. His experience combined with the Audi S4, Volkswagen engine transplanted Turbo VR6, built and tuned in house at USP Motorsports was a recipe for success. The S4 ran consistent high 9 second and low 10 second passes at 145+ mph trap speeds staying undefeated in our class for the first 2 races of the season. The best pass recorded on the season was a 9.7 @ 147, easily defeating the competitor in the semi-final round. These times were accomplished using a class restricted drag radial tire and a restricted vehicle weight of 3250lbs.

On January 10, 2010 at Broward Convention center during the “Fast Expo”, the champions of the 2009 NSCRA inaugural season were commended and rewarded. Apart from the cash bonus for winning, Chris Green and USP Motorsports were also rewarded with a Gold Card entitling us to an entire year of free test and tune at Palm Beach International Raceway. We will benefit from this by keeping our race car tuned properly, running consistent 1/4 mile passes, and breaking records in 2010. Stay tuned.

In preparation for the 2010 race season, USP Motorsports has been forced to expand. We’ve sold the 22′ v-nose single car trailer to pick up a 42′ Gooseneck! This trailer houses enough room for 2 vehicles and plenty more for tools and spare parts at the track. We will be fully prepared to represent for the Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche community! USP Motorsports plans to attend the full season of

NSCRA drag racing events with our 800hp Audi S4 in the True Street class. USP Motorsports and driver Chris Green was the 2009 season winner of the NSCRA South Florida Turbo True Street class and we plan to defend out title in 2010!!

USP Motorsports will also be attending multiple road-course racing events with our E85 corn fed 700hp Porsche 996 Turbo, standing-mile runs, and European car events such as Euro Warz and Euro FixxFest. Look for our 500+whp GLI 1.8T to be riding along in the Gooseneck as well, trying for its first 10 second pass and be the first GLI 1.8T in the country to break that barrier!

Euro FixxFest 6 is right around the corner, and USP Motorsports will be more prepared than ever to represent as a title sponsor of the event this year. USP Motorsports is proud to support one of the largest Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche get togethers in the country! We will be setting up a full tent and booth display with all of our products on sale. Direct port ECU programming will be available as well at discounted prices.

USP Motorsports will also be racing our drag cars to display our abilities as a performance. Our arsenal will include the 9 second USP 826awhp Audi S4, our 605whp MK5 GTI 2.0T FSI, and our 568whp GLI 1.8T. The MK5 is currently the worlds quickest, fastest and highest horsepower 2.0T FSI. We will be shooting for the first 10 second pass ever in both the MK5 and the GLI 1.8T.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at the first annual Festival of Power and Shine at USP Motorsports. With over 130 VW’s and Audi’s in attendance, this event was a great success. We had our technician / former chef on the grill, the dyno rollers spinnings, and a full PA speaker system to list some of the highlights on the day. There were a handful of 400+ whp cars strapped down on the dyno including Joe’s modded V8 twin turbo RS6, turbo VR6 Jetta’s, and Antoan’s dyno shootout winning Audi S4 with a 3.0L engine, RS6 turbo’s and E85 fuel conversion putting down a grand total of 541awhp. There were some great raffle prizes given away including a free Mobil 1 oil change at USP Motorsports, a Turtle wax full detail kit, and a $100 gift certificate for use at USP.

Trophies were given out to the Dyno shootout winner, the best Audi, and the best VW in the show.
