We will be hosting our 3rd annual Festival of Power and Shine on Saturday, February 11th 2012. With over 250+ cars in attendance last year, we are expecting an even bigger turnout in this upcoming event! There will be a judged car show for the best in show VW and Audi, as well as a dyno shootout for all of you high horsepower 4 cylinder and 6 cylinders. Not to mention trophies and cash prizes to go along with that! If you don’t have a huge turbo or a show car, you don’t have to worry. There will also be a raffle with prizes including a Fully Loaded APR ECU Upgrade, $100 USP Gift Card, Mobil 1 Oil Change, and more! Make sure to bring your friends and family too; the BBQ will be grilling up fresh Burgers and Hot Dogs all afternoon, and a live DJ all day!

On October 23rd. 2011, the USP Motorsports Audi S4 will be making its first public debut at the NSCRA Round 4 drag racing event since its revisions. With the event coming up quickly, we are working vigorously to get the car ready to bring home a win. After a few changes to the configuration of the motor, there are hopes of some new records to be set. We were, unfortunately, not able to compete in Round 2 of the NSCRA series due to our new and improved engine setup. However, we plan on showing up to NSCRA Round 3 with authority!! Were are working around the clock to get our Audi S4 24v VR6T race car built and tuned in time for the event! Click here for more information and pictures on the build. After a huge turnout of over 200 VW and Audi’s at our last event in September 2009, we are excited to announce that USP Motorsports will be hosting a 2nd Festival of Power and Shine!! February 19th, 2011 @ 10am, the show / bbq / dyno day will commence in expectation to exceed the inaugural turnout! We will be raffling off a few different items including a FREE APR software upgrade, a FREE Mobil 1 oil change, and a $100 USP Gift card! Lunch will be only $5 for hot dogs & hamburgers**. Awards will be given out for best overall VW, best overall Audi, and also highest HP 4 & 6 cylinders in the dyno shootout*. The shop will also be opened for sales and viewing of our facility. We had quite an experience at the NSCRA Eastern Regional Finals. On the first day of qualifying we ran the car in a test run and bent all 6 exhaust valves, and the car was unable to go on. We were determined to get the car running for day 2 of qualifying and had to figure out a way to do that. So we loaded everything back into the trailer and headed back to the shop. We worked into the morning hours taking the motor apart, grinding and seating all 6 exhaust valves, grinding the pistons, and putting the motor back together. Surprisingly the car started right back up! After a few pulls, the car made it back into the trailer and we were on our way back to the track 3 hours later. A second place finish is the un-expected outcome of our hard work!

USP Motorsports has been very active in drag racing and road racing events in the past few years. We felt that it was necessary to give the trailer a new look. A large USP Motorsports logo can be found on all sides, as well as our sponsor, Mobil 1. You may also notice the large silhouette of the un-mistakable lines of a Porsche, which is spread out along each side of the trailer. And wrapping around the top of every panel are black and red stripes to bring it all together.
